What is a supply chain? Who are we and why are we here? How do we ensure that suppliers and buyers excel within this chain, becoming leaders in their niches worldwide?
As Jiddu Krishnamurti writes in “The Flight of the Eagle”: “To ask the ‘right’ question is far more important than to receive the answer. The solution of a problem lies in the understanding of the problem; the answer is not outside the problem, it is in the problem.”
Our journey enthusiasms sparked by President Eisenhower’s signing of legislation on June 29, 1956, funding the U.S. Interstate Highway System. Our great grandparents were pioneers in modern American logistics, passing down generations of knowledge on building a genuine and ethical business, prioritizing drivers, warehouse staff, and our entire team.
The next significant shift came with the Motor Carrier Act of 1980, granting our grandparents the freedom to explore and grow in American logistics. Deregulation, starting with the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 and culminating in the Motor Carrier Act, reshaped transportation industries, leading to unprecedented opportunities. Although we have to wait until February 2010 before becoming a incorporated Freight Logistics Company.
But what was the key to their success? How did our grandparents and parents build reputations and deliver top-notch service in transportation?
Their secret was simple: prioritize drivers.
No company rises to global prominence without a genuine commitment to its employees—they are the heart of the corporation, not an external factor. We don’t hire hourly workers or salaried employees; we collaborate with PARTNERS. This approach fosters mutual understanding, making our people feel like family and empowering them to enhance their lives and skills with us. Working for or with us means mutual growth—we become better together, achieving new heights and unlocking new opportunities.
It all begins with a fundamental question.
When we started this business, we asked ourselves: why? What do we aim to achieve? How can we deliver unparalleled service in our field?
We are laying the groundwork for generations to come at Vasalina. Our vision extends beyond profit; it encompasses improving humanity’s quality of life and ensuring global cargo reaches every corner of our magnificent planet.
Join us in reshaping the global supply chain for the greater good of all humanity. Together, we can build a brighter future.
